Phospate MN
PHOSPHATE-MN is High temperature dip process which produces medium to heavy “Nickel, modified Manganese Phosphate” coating of Discasting Iron components. Phosphate coating forms a thick micro crystalline uniform coating on Iron and Steel component therefore it minimizes the contact of the base metal with atmosphere.
PHOSPHATE-MN provides corrosion and friction resistant surface. Hence, it is used in Automobile and Machinery spare part industry for piston rings, gears, nut and bolts, cylinder liner, valves etc.
The benefits of the process include:
a) Rapid running -in of moving parts without scuffing or welding by preventing metal to metal contact between the surfaces.
b) PHOSPHATE-MN coating gives a high oil absorptive and corrosion resistance qualities to the treated surface.
c) Improved lubrication of treated surfaces due to oil retaining properties of coating.
d) Reduces wear and tear in metal moving parts.
